Overview Fun 'N The Sun Houseboats are "state-of-the-art." They are designed for people who enjoy the outdoors, but also want comfortable, even luxurious accommodations. All boats are custom built with your needs and comfort in mind. Our years of experience allow us to design the ultimate balance in our cruising yachts. This provides you the luxury you expect, as well as the practicality and ease of handling that insure a comfortable and trouble free vacation. We design and have boats manufactured to our specifications that are added to our fleet each year. The boats offer affordable luxury, that is typically found only in privately owned boats. Similar to other vacation alternatives, the only items you need to bring are personal clothing and effects. We can even provide a Food Package Plan where your food, if you desire, is purchased and on the boat waiting for you. Linens, cooking utensils, gas grills, etc, are ready for your use. The extras we provide range from private sleeping berths, 1 1/2 and 2 full bathrooms, air conditioning and generators. All boats are equipped with color TV and VCR, AM-FM Stereo Radio, depth finder, marine radio, deluxe furnishings and interiors, wide body construction with oversized tinted windows. The boats are set up with executive wishes in mind. Fun 'N The Sun Houseboats feature private sleeping quarters with queen sleepers. Our boats let you include family and friends in your vacation plans. If you want, invite family and friends to vacation with you. That's no problem because your craft is designed to accommodate them in relative luxury, with their own private sleeping quarters and bath. Where Will I Be Boating? Fun 'N The Sun sails from the Great River Harbor, located three miles south of Alma, Wisconsin. The historic city of Alma is situated midway between La Crosse, Wisconsin and Red Wing, Minnesota. The Upper Mississippi River is unrivaled for scenery with rolling green bluffs and sandy island beaches. The river towns that dot the river offer varied and unique experiences for all tastes. For those who enjoy gaming, a major casino is located right on the river. You will enjoy unlimited cruising in the Mississippi River valley, and can even venture into the historic St. Croix River. Charts and guidebooks are furnished along with boat handling instruction. You will have all the skill and information needed for a memorable vacation. Be The Pilot! Relax...We Train
You. You don't have to be a boater to rent a boat. If you have a love of boats but little boating experience, we'll train you to be an expert. We provide specialized, comprehensive boater training. Knowledge gleaned from years of boating experience is offered to you by our professional instructors. They'll teach you everything you need to know, using the most current techniques available, including a videotape. You complete the course with extensive behind-the-wheel navigating practice with your instructor at your side. We will make sure you are comfortable as "captain" before leaving port. You will enjoy security and confidence when piloting your own vessel as you navigate through days of fun in the sun, enjoying the beauty of the upper Mississippi River Valley.
